A gunman opened fire inside a high school in Nashville on Wednesday, wounding two people before shooting himself, the police said.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department said it was investigating the shooting at Antioch High School, about 20 miles southeast of downtown Nashville and that there was no additional threat. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was also responding, its Nashville bureau said.
The conditions of those injured in the shooting were unclear.
Metro Nashville Public Schools said the high school was on lockdown around noon local time. Officials had set up a reunification area for parents.
This is a developing story.
