The Miami Dolphins and star wide receiver Tyreek Hill have reached an agreement on a reworked contract worth $90 million over the next three years that includes $65 million guaranteed, Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said Saturday.
Hill will get $106.5 million fully guaranteed over the next four seasons, the most fully guaranteed money ever for a wide receiver.
“We did not add any new years,” Rosenhaus said. “This is just adding guaranteed money. It’s the most guaranteed money added to a contract without adding new years in NFL history.”

This gets Hill very close to the contract of fellow receiver Justin Jefferson, who signed an extension with the Minnesota Vikings for four years and $140 million that includes $110 million guaranteed.
Tagovailoa’s top target rewarded
Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s rise from struggling prospect to bona fide NFL starter can be directly traced to the Dolphins’ acquisition of Hill two offseasons ago.
Coach Mike McDaniel has used Hill all over the field, turning him into Tagovailoa’s security blanket. Hill, in turn, has responded by producing two straight 1,700-yard seasons (leading the league in receiving yards in 2023).
After extending their quarterback late last month, the Dolphins now have rewarded his most dynamic weapon as they aim to make the push for a deep playoff run after two straight disappointing finishes. — Mike Jones
